James Wolfgang Rogers — Silver Diesel Photography I create abstract, industrial, and modernist photographs of urban environments, with a focus on geometry, metal, architecture, and infrastructure. I'm based in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. I regularly shoot factories, railroads, city streets, and coastal reflections, often using water (from puddles to large bodies) to flip perspectives and reveal unexpected patterns. My work is digital and highly deliberate. I hunt for lines, shapes, and reflections that turn ordinary structures into graphic compositions. A lot of my recent work explores “up-or-down” viewpoints created by reflective surfaces, so many images can be read multiple ways depending on how you orient them.
